Tatyana Marugg is an associate in the firm's private capital transactions group, based in Boston. She represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in connection with a broad range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and equity investments matters. Her practice also includes representation of debtors, lenders and agents in financing transactions.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Tatyana was an associate at another large international law firm in Boston, where she primarily represented lenders in a variety of private credit transactions.
During law school, Tatyana was an editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law and worked as a student attorney for the Intellectual Property Clinic. She also interned for the Croatian Mediation Association in Zagreb, Croatia.

- Represented Advent International in its acquisition (alongside Leonard Green & Partners) of a significant stake in Prometheus Group, a provider of enterprise asset management (EAM) software, and in several subsequent add-on acquisitions.
- Represented THL Partners in its take-private acquisition of Agiliti, a provider of medical equipment management and service solutions.

- Represented HIG Capital in a significant add-on acquisition for one of its portfolio companies, Vantage Specialty Chemicals, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals.
- Represented TSG Consumer Partners in its growth investment in Summer Fridays, a skincare and makeup brand.
- Represented Compass Diversified in its $380 million acquisition of The Honey Pot, a manufacturer of hygiene products focused on feminine care.
- Represented Vistria Group in its acquisition of Professional Health Care Network, a provider of home health management solutions and care coordination.
- Represented Bain Capital Tech Opportunities in its $190 million growth investment in Blackpoint Cyber, a cybersecurity company.
- Represented TSG Consumer Partners portfolio company Super Star Car Wash in its add-on acquisition of Wave Wash, an operator of a chain of express conveyor car washes.
- Represented Charlesbank and its portfolio company BOX Partners in the add-on acquisition of The Packaging Wholesalers, a manufacturer of packaging products and shipping supplies.
- Represented Gateway Investment Advisers, a pioneer in options-based investment strategies and affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, in its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Belmont Capital Group, a registered investment adviser.
- Represented TSG Consumer Partners in its minority investment in Crumbl, a producer and distributor of cookies.
- Represented Haveli Investments in its acquisition of AppViewX, a provider of network infrastructure management and automation software.
