Dawson Owen joined Ropes & Gray in 2024. He is based in the Washington, D.C. office focusing on antitrust matters. Dawson also maintains a robust pro bono practice including immigration and asylum matters.

Dawson attended Columbia Law School where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. During law school Dawson was involved in Outlaws (an LGBTQ+ affinity group), First Generation Professionals, and mentoring undergraduate students. Furthermore, Dawson interned with the Securities and Exchange Commission and volunteered with the National Association of the Deaf.

Prior to law school, Dawson attended Auburn University and completed a double major in Political Science and French.
