Ellie is a corporate associate in Ropes & Gray’s Boston office. Ellie’s practice focuses primarily in the firm’s private equity group, representing private equity sponsors and strategic investors in the structuring and negotiation of public and private mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and cross-border transactions.
Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Ellie was an associate in the Boston office of a global law firm where she concentrated on complex corporate and transactional matters for private equity and corporate strategic clients, including mergers and acquisitions, general corporate governance and equity matters. Ellie also previously served as in-house counsel at a leading alternative asset manager.

- Cedar Bus Company;

- Represented Wynnchurch Capital in various acquisitions, sales, and portfolio company matters, including*:
- the acquisition of ORS Nasco from One Equity Partners and the subsequent acquisition by ORS Nasco of R3 Safety, expanding its industrial safety platform;
- the acquisition of Handgards from Wind Point Partners and the subsequent acquisition by Handguards of Inno-Pak, LLC from Emerald Lake Capital Management;
- the sale of the Eastern Architectural Systems division of Eastern Metal Supply, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, to Cornerstone Building Brands; and
- the sale of Premier Forge Group, a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, to H.I.G. Capital.
- Represented DISA Global Solutions, a portfolio company of Audax Group, in various add-on acquisitions and corporate matters, including*:
- the acquisition of Crimcheck; and
- the acquisition of the screening and compliance services businesses of CastleBranch Inc.
- Represented DLB Associates in connection with Accenture’s (NYSE: ACN) acquisition of a majority stake, expanding Accenture’s capital projects and data center development capabilities.*
- Represented Foley Products Company in its $1.84 billion acquisition by CMC (NYSE: CMC).*
- Represented Mobico Group (LSE: MCG) in the sale of its school bus division National Express Schools to I Squared Capital.*
- Represented Kids2, Inc. in its take-private acquisition of Summer Infant, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUMR).*
