Ty Owen joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2021 and practices in the asset management group. He provides regulatory and transactional advice to a variety of private investment funds clients, including private equity funds, funds of funds, credit funds, hedge funds and real estate funds. Ty’s practice also includes a focus on cryptocurrency investments and blockchain technologies.
Ty also dedicates a portion of his practice to strategic innovation initiatives, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence and legal technology integration. He collaborates with clients, external technology providers, and Ropes & Gray’s in-house technology and knowledge management teams to evaluate and implement AI-driven tools and solutions.
