Desiree Pelletier joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement group in 2021. Desiree’s practice includes civil litigation, government investigations, and anti-corruption matters. She has experience across multiple stages of civil litigation, including dispositive motion practice, managing complex discovery, depositions, and preparing for trial. Desiree also frequently represents companies in responding to inquiries from regulators, such as the SEC.

Desiree also maintains an active pro bono practice, including work on voting rights protection and asylum cases.

During law school, Desiree served as an editor of the Boston University Law Review and interned in the Enforcement Division of the U.S. Securities & Exchange Commission.

  • Represented healthcare provider in criminal antitrust investigation.
  • Represented private equity, investment management, and public company clients in SEC and FINRA inquires and enforcement actions concerning a range of issues, including insider trading and disclosure matters.
  • Represented corporate clients in expedited litigation in Delaware Chancery Court.
  • Conducted internal investigations for a health care company involving allegations of violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act in South America and Asia.
