Lisabelle Panossian is an associate in the firm’s litigation & enforcement practice group. Her practice focuses on civil litigation, government and internal investigations, corporate compliance, and intellectual property rights enforcement—with an eye towards concrete results. Lisabelle’s work has covered a variety of matters involving the False Claims Act, fraudulent conveyances, anti-kickback laws, securities laws, trademark enforcement and complex commercial litigation. She also advises clients on anti-corruption and sanctions compliance risks, while providing comprehensive litigation due diligence for M&A transactions.

Lisabelle maintains a robust pro bono practice. She represents various clients in immigration matters involving asylum and legal permanent residence, has advised international non-government organizations on matters of international law, and assisted with criminal re-sentencing efforts.

Before law school, Lisabelle worked as a legal assistant at an intellectual property law firm during a major patent infringement trial. During law school, Lisabelle externed for the Honorable Virginia M. Kendall in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She also served as an editor of the Northwestern Journal of Human Rights and a law clerk for a boutique law firm specializing in international law.
