Weilun Qian joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2023, with a focus on strategic transactions. During law school, Weilun was part of the Transnational Legal Clinic and assisted asylum seekers in applying for legal status in the U.S. He is a recipient of Penn Carey Law’s Outstanding Pro Bono Service Award for performing 120+ hours of pro bono work.

  • Advised Xerox Holdings Corporation in its agreement to acquire Lexmark International, Inc., from Ninestar Corporation, PAG Asia Capital, and Shanghai Shouda Investment Centre in a deal valued at $1.5 billion.
  • Advised Cosette Pharmaceuticals, Inc., in a definitive agreement to acquire all the outstanding shares of Mayne Pharma Group Limited at AUD$7.40 per share for a total consideration of approximately USD$430 million.
  • Advised a biopharmaceutical company in a strategic partnership with a pharmaceutical company to advance development and commercialization of small molecule oral programs.
  • Advised GI Partners and TA Associates in a strategic growth investment in Egnyte, a provider of secure content collaboration and governance solutions.
  • Advised Summit Partners backed company Thrive Skilled Pediatric Care in its sale to Aveanna Healthcare Holdings.
  • Advised a nonprofit organization in completing its acquisition of a private, not-for-profit healthcare delivery system.
