Abbey Shaw is an associate in Ropes & Gray’s private equity real estate group. Abbey trained at the firm's London office and gained experience in the private equity, asset management, private equity real estate and data protection and cybersecurity teams.
Experience
- A variety of private equity funds in connection with the real estate aspects of PE acquisitions and dispositions, including corporate and real estate diligence, acquisition and disposition agreements and sale and leasebacks
- Brookfield, alongside its operator and manager, Copley Point Capital, on a £125 million JV recapitalization of three big-box distribution warehouses from Tritax Big Box REIT
- Partners Group on various real estate joint ventures and investments across Europe
- GIC in connection with its acquisition of a 40% interest in The Oxford Science Park from Magdalen College, Oxford, and on a strategic joint venture between GIC and Magdalen College aimed at accelerating major development of the science park
