Alexandra is an associate in Ropes & Gray's litigation and enforcement practice group. As a former investigative journalist and graduate of Fordham University School of Law and New York University, Alexandra brings a diverse background in litigation, regulatory, crypto, and economic crime matters.
During their time at Fordham, they served as a member of the Fordham Law Review and the Brendan Moore Trial Advocacy Team, in addition to authoring a comment on cryptocurrency and blockchain evidentiary procedure in the Fordham Law Review Online. Alexandra gained substantive litigation experience through internships at the New York City Law Department, where they helped negotiate case settlements and drafted motions for federal cases, and at Ropes & Gray, where they researched blockchain issues issues for litigation, contributed to the Crypto Quarterly, and contributed to white-collar defense investigations.
Previously, Alexandra held internships in federal cybersecurity law with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Administration (CISA) within the Department of Homeland Security, and in economic crime and appeals at the Manhattan and Queens District Attorneys’ Offices.
Before law school, Alexandra worked as a senior video journalist at major publications including the Wall Street Journal and Vox, producing in-depth technology and economics investigations, with one story being featured as a clip on Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.
