Alex Conrad Schubert joined Ropes & Gray’s corporate department in 2022 and focuses her practice primarily on transactional work. She advises public and private companies and investors in mergers and acquisitions, securities offerings, and other strategic transactions. Alex also advises clients on securities law compliance and other general corporate matters.

Alex attended Boston University School of Law, where she was designated as a Dean’s Scholar. During law school, she was the executive editor of the American Journal of Law and Medicine. She also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Mark G. Mastroianni of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.

  • Represented LPL Financial, the nation’s largest independent broker-dealer network, in numerous strategic transactions of investment advisory and financial planning firms.  
  • Represented MACOM Technology Solutions, a developer and manufacturer of radio, microwave and semiconductor products, in its acquisition of the radio frequency business of Wolfspeed, Inc.
  • Represented MACOM Technology Solutions, a developer and manufacturer of radio, microwave and semiconductor products, in its acquisition of Linearizer Technology.
  • Represented Lassen Therapeutics LLC in its Series B financing and in corporate governance matters.
  • Represented a leading global investment management firm in its Series B investment in a biopharmaceutical company.
  • Represented several underwriters with at-the-market offering programs.
  • Represented public company clients in connection with securities law and corporate governance matters.
