Giulia Schukraft joined Ropes and Gray in 2024 as a technical advisor in the intellectual property group.
Prior to joining the firm, Giulia worked at Sun Chemical Corporation as a chemist to develop new polymers for inks. Prior to this role, she earned her Ph.D. in material science at Imperial College London, where she worked on developing porous materials for carbon capture and optimizing semiconductors for renewable energy technologies. In 2017, Giulia received her MSc in molecular chemistry and biological chemistry from the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne in Switzerland with a focus on organic, inorganic, and supramolecular chemistry.
