Theodore (Ted) Schneider joined Ropes & Gray in 2025 as an associate in the corporate department. He represents private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies in a range of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, strategic investments and corporate governance matters.

While at Columbia Law School, Ted served as a development editor of the Columbia Law Review. He was also a James Kent Scholar.

Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Ted practiced at a global law firm with a focus on mergers & acquisitions and private equity.

Experience

  • Represented Partners Group in the sale of its stake and reinvestment alongside Bain Capital, Kohlberg, and other investors, in PCI Pharma Services.
  • Represented Altamont Capital Partners in its investment in Key Container Corporation, a leading corrugated box manufacturer in New England.
  • Represented Apollo Global Management in its minority investment in PetSmart.*
  • Represented Angeles Equity Partners in its acquisition of Xanitos, Inc., a management company that provides hospital housekeeping.*
  • Represented Angeles Equity Partners in its acquisition of Custom Goods, a provider of contract logistics services.*
  • Represented Agile Occupational Medicine in its acquisition of ProHealth Medical Group, an occupational health clinic group in southern California.*
  • Represented Enverus, Inc. in its acquisitions of BidOut, Inc. and Pearl Street Technologies.*
  • Represented Gooding & Company, a luxury car auction company, in its sale to Christie’s International.*
