William Shefelman joined Ropes & Gray’s health care group in 2023.
Will completed a dual degree in law and public health at the Georgetown University Law Center and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. During law school, Will served as president of the Georgetown Health Law Society and as an editor of the Georgetown Journal of Law and Public Policy. Will also conducted research for the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law and completed internships at the Health Care Bureau of the Office of the New York Attorney General and the Enforcement Division of the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. In his final semester of law school, Will worked as a student attorney in the Georgetown Health Justice Alliance Law clinic, where he worked collaboratively with Georgetown affiliated health centers to address legal issues under the Medical Legal Partnership model.
