Aryel Tucker is an associate in the firm’s alternative asset opportunities practice group. He regularly represents asset managers and institutional investors, including sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, and secondary buyers, in a range of transactional matters such as secondaries, co-investments, and GP-led fund recapitalizations. Aryel additionally advises private funds and their sponsors on matters of fund formation and ongoing operation.
Aryel maintains an active pro bono practice, focusing on the formation and operation of non-profit entities and providing counsel on matters of international law.
During his time at Columbia Law School, Aryel was recognized as a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar. He also earned the Parker Certificate of Achievement in International and Comparative Law. Aryel served as a staff editor for the Columbia Journal of Tax Law and worked in the New York City Taxi & Limousine Commission’s legal division.
