Kasia is an experienced private funds lawyer, advising private capital sponsors on fund structuring, fundraising, and regulatory compliance across private credit, private equity, and other alternative asset classes.
She works with some of Europe’s top private fund managers, helping them navigate investor negotiations, evolving market trends, and complex legal challenges.
Kasia specialises in private fund structuring, advising fund sponsors on fund formation, investor negotiations, and fundraising strategies, regulatory compliance, including AIFMD, SFDR, and cross-border fundraising, global management company structuring, and team spin-outs for new investment firms launching their first funds.
In addition to her sponsor-side practice, Kasia advises sovereign wealth funds, pension plans, and family offices on private capital investment programs, including primary fund allocations across private equity, credit, real estate and infrastructure, co-investments and bespoke investment strategies, seed capital transactions and first-time fund commitments, as well as secondaries sales and GP-led transactions.
Kasia has experience in private fund secondaries transactions, representing both fund managers and institutional investors the private credit and private equity markets.
Before joining Ropes & Gray, Kasia spent over a decade in the private funds team of a leading US law firm, advising global asset managers on fund formation and regulatory compliance.
