Trinny Terrazas joined Ropes & Gray in 2025 as an associate in the firm’s executive compensation & employee benefits group.
Trinny’s practice focuses on the executive compensation and employee benefits aspects of corporate transactions for public and private companies including mergers, acquisitions and other strategic transactions. Trinny has experience preparing employment agreements, separation agreements and equity and incentive arrangements, including complex profits interest programs and partnership waterfall provisions. In addition, she regularly assists with analyses relating to tax implications of golden parachute payments (Section 280G of the Internal Revenue Code) in private and public company transactions. Trinny also advises clients regarding the administration and compliance of employee benefit plans, programs, and arrangements with the Internal Revenue Code and the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA) and the applicable tax implications related thereto.
Trinny works with companies in a wide range of industries, including branded and consumer products, technology, financial services and energy. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Trinny was an associate in the employee benefit and executive compensation group at another global law firm.
