Ariel Whitmore joined Ropes & Gray in 2026 as an associate in the corporate real estate group in the Boston office. Prior to joining Ropes & Gray, Ariel worked as an associate at the Chicago office of a national law firm in their financial services group.
Ariel graduated from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law in 2026, where she served as an executive editor of the Journal of Technology and Intellectual Property. During her time in law school, Ariel also served as Vice President of the Student Bar Association and completed an externship with a global e-commerce website, where she focused on commercial contracts. Previously, Ariel earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, cum laude, from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
