Kegan joined Ropes & Gray’s litigation and enforcement department in 2025.
Kegan attended the University of Chicago Law School, where he was a Chicago Law Scholar, the Donald E. Egan Scholar, the Grant R. Folland Scholar, and a Stonewall Scholar, as well as OutLaw President. Prior to and during law school, Kegan worked for multiple state government and federal agencies’ litigation departments, at a boutique law firm specializing in immigration work, and at a civic technology company. He also holds degrees in Law, Letters, and Society and Political Science from The University of Chicago.
