Nicholas joined Ropes & Gray’s asset management practice group in 2025. At the University of Virginia School of Law, Nicholas served as an articles editor for the Virginia Journal of Social Policy, and as a research assistant for a professor.
Before law school, Nicholas worked in the general counsel’s office of an international biotech advocacy association in Washington, D.C., where he managed vendor contracting and federal lobbying compliance.
Nicholas also earned his master’s degree in political science. His research focused on the evolving legal and regulatory status of independent contractor labor in the gig economy.
