Ropes & Gray Attorneys to Speak at Conference on Health Care Fraud Litigation

Ropes & Gray health care counsel Deborah Gardner was a featured speaker at the Suffolk Law University conference, “Emerging Trends in Health Care Fraud Litigation,” on Thursday, November 7. The program was co-sponsored with the Health Law Section of the Boston Bar Association and the Social Law Library. The panelists discussed recent developments in health care fraud litigation and the changing compliance environment brought about by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. 

Deborah participated on the second panel, which addressed compliance in the wake of the Affordable Care Act and featured hospital general counsel and outside counsel as well as a chief compliance officer from an area academic medical center.
