Cross-Practice Team Advises TPG Growth on Acquisition of Israeli Software Company iMDsoft

A team of Ropes & Gray attorneys advised TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity investment platform of TPG, on its acquisition of iMDsoft, a worldwide leader in high-acuity clinical information systems that is based in Tel Aviv, Israel. The transaction was announced on June 11 and terms were not disclosed.

The Ropes & Gray team included private equity partner Carl Marcellino, intellectual property litigation partner Ken Felter, tax partner Elaine Murphy, labor & employment partner Peter Ebb, life sciences partner Al Cacozza and private investment funds partner John Ayer. The associates and counsel working on the transaction were Avi Reshtick (tax), Megan Bisk (labor & employment), and Jason Freedman and Mark Sugino (private investment funds).

iMDsoft’s flagship product, the MetaVision Suite, is designed to automate hospitals’ high-acuity clinical workflow to improve care quality and patient safety, enhance financial performance and increase compliance with complex clinical and administrative protocols.
