Ropes & Gray advised Aquiline Capital Partners in its majority investment in Quicken Inc., maker of America's best-selling personal finance software. Terms of the transaction, announced on Sept. 9, were not disclosed. The press release is here. 

Aquiline, a New York- and London-based private investment firm with $6.9 billion in assets under management.
