Christine explained that key health IT developments in 2021 included the Information Blocking Final Rule on health care data sharing, U.S. Food and Drug Administration guidance on artificial intelligence algorithms and the U.S. Federal Trade Commission data breach regulations. Looking ahead, she expects more innovative telehealth arrangements and complex health data exchange partnerships and frameworks.
