Ropes & Gray Ranked Number Three on The American Lawyer’s “A-List”

For the third consecutive year, Ropes & Gray has ranked in the top three on The American Lawyer’s “A-List,” an annual ranking of the top 20 law firms in the United States. This marks the ninth consecutive year the firm has been recognized on the elite “A-List,” which appears in the magazine’s August 2019 issue. 

The “A-List” ranks the “best of the best” law firms by evaluating five key financial and cultural markers: firm performance, pro bono, diversity, associate satisfaction and gender equity. 

The A-List honor is the latest in an impressive list of awards and recognition over the last year, including top-tier rankings in Chambers USA; the number two ranking for legal expertise in the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers; honors from the IFLR Asia Awards, including “Private Equity Firm of the Year”; “Transatlantic Finance Team of the Year” from the Transatlantic Legal Awards in the U.K.; “Pro Bono Program of the Year” by Chambers & Partners; and continued recognition by Law360 as a leading firm for women.
