On Feb. 24, Ropes & Gray and the Chicago chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) will host a breakfast program on what corporate lawyers in the health care and life sciences industries should know about data security, information privacy, recent enforcement trends and the implications for corporate entities. The program, which will be held at Ropes & Gray’s Chicago office at 191 North Wacker Drive, starts with a networking breakfast at 8:30 a.m. CT, followed by a presentation at 8:45 a.m. and a Q&A session at 9:45 a.m.
The seminar, titled “Be Vigilant! The Current State of Health Care Data Privacy Enforcement and What You Can Do to Prepare,” will feature health care partner Deborah Gersh, government enforcement partner Laura Hoey and health care associate Jennifer Romig, together with Marilyn Hanzal, associate general counsel for the University of Chicago Medicine.
