Ropes & Gray and The Association of Corporate Investigators (ACi) to Host Online Workshop on Corporate Investigations of Sexual Misconduct

On June 26 and 27, Ropes & Gray and the Association of Corporate Investigators (ACi) will partner to host an online training event where participants will gain insight to applying U.S. and UK employment law best practices in investigating cases of workplace sexual misconduct. The team will also consider how to conduct these matters while applying a Trauma-Informed approach.

The workshop, “Investigating Workplace Sexual Misconduct,” will be led by anti-corruption and international risk partner Amanda Raad, employment & benefits partner Jennifer Cormier, tax, employment & benefits counsel Greg Demers, behavioral insights director Nitish Upadhyaya, and senior consultant and behavioral scientist at R&G Insights Lab, Caitlin Handron. They, along with ACi experts and Mischon employment partner, Sharon Tan, will examine how corporate investigators can manage complainants, witnesses, and employees accused of wrongdoing in a culturally sensitive way, including duty of care to all parties concerned. The course will discuss how to respond to complex sexual misconduct allegations using trauma-informed approaches as part of a robust response.
