On November 2, clients, guests, and alumnus joined attorneys from across Ropes & Gray’s global network for the firm’s annual Hong Kong client reception. This year’s event holds special significance as the firm celebrates 15 years of dedicated service in Hong Kong.
Managing partner David Djaha and Hong Kong managing partner Vincent Ip co-hosted the event, with Asia regional managing partner and policy committee member Arthur Mok, Seoul office managing partner Jaewoo Lee, Tokyo office managing partner and Asia PE & MA chair Tsuyoshi Imai, joined by numerous partners from other offices.
The event was again hosted at Sevva, situated in the penthouse of Prince’s Building in Central – the heart of the City’s business and financial district. Amid stunning views of Hong Kong’s skyline, overlooking several iconic Hong Kong landmarks and Victoria Harbour, attorneys celebrated with guests.
“We owe our success in Hong Kong to our clients and to our exceptional Hong Kong team,” managing partner David Djaha said. “As we mark our 15th year in Hong Kong, I take this opportunity to thank our clients for their longstanding support and entrusting us with their most complex business challenges.”
Established in 2008, today the Hong Kong office reflects many of the firm’s traditional strengths and has strong capabilities in private equity, M&A, finance, investment funds, government enforcement, and life sciences.
