On January 11, litigation & enforcement partner Brian Blais will join a panel of distinguished colleagues on a panel titled Key Considerations Regarding an Audit Committee or Special Committee Investigation: The Outside Counsel’s Perspective, to discuss, from the perspective of outside counsel, what is required of audit committees and special committees, and those who advise them, when confronted with allegations of potential misconduct. The panel is part of PLI’s day-long symposium, Audit Committees, Special Committees and Internal Investigations 2024.
Using a real-world case study, the panel will discuss regulatory developments and pressing legal ethics issues, and will provide attorneys, public company directors, audit committee members, auditors and other public company advisors insight on how internal investigations should be structured and conducted.
