Ropes & Gray’s Singapore office formally opened in 2024, marking the firm’s fifth office location in Asia. The office focuses on asset management and investments (including private equity, M&A and co-investments), anti-corruption and international risk, life sciences and health care transactions, and regulatory compliance–industries and capabilities that reflect many of the firm’s core strengths.
Managing partner David Djaha and Singapore partners Andrew Dale, Chune Loong Lum, and Katherine Wang were joined by Ropes & Gray colleagues and Policy Committee members from across the firm’s global network of Asia, UK and US offices, welcoming Singapore-based clients for spectacular views and refreshments.
“Expanding our regional presence by establishing an office in Singapore follows the firm’s philosophy of matching the needs of our institutional clients in markets of global significance,” Chune Loong said. “Having served many Singapore-based clients for over a decade, my colleagues and I are delighted to welcome everyone at our first Singapore reception since opening here.”
