Health care partner David Peloquin presented at the Public Responsibility in Medicine & Research (PRIM&R) Annual Conference in Seattle.
David spoke on the panel entitled “Risk Associated with Human Subjects Research: Whom Are we Obligated to Protect?” The panelists examined topics including participant, institutional and investigator risk with research that is controversial. This may include concerns about safety of the research team and risks of being targeted when engaged in research on controversial topics, as well as how regulations cover these issues.
