Hannah England and Brad Flint to Speak at Fierce Biotech Week

Licensing & collaboration partner Hannah England and emerging companies & venture capital partner Brad Flint will present at two separate panel discussions at Fierce Biotech Week next month.

Hannah will speak on a panel on Tuesday, October 7, titled “Pharma's Partnership Priorities: Betting Smart, Not Just Big” that will address how today’s pharmaceutical companies approach licensing, evaluate risk, filter partner opportunities, and structure partnerships. Hannah will be joined on the panel by Jimmy Zhuang, assistant general counsel for business development at Novo Nordisk; Nikhil Mutyal, head of search and evaluation for respiratory and immunology at AstraZeneca; and Janus Friedmann, senior vice president and head of regional business development and licensing, Co.Lab, and divestitures at Bayer.

Brad will speak on a panel on Wednesday, October 8, titled “From Formation to Exit - Legal Strategy Across the Biotech Lifecycle” that will explore the legal decisions made soon after biotech companies are created, including, licensing structures, board formation, equity allocation, IP positioning, and investor rights. Brad will be joined on the panel by Nell Meosky Luo, founder and CEO of Folia Health; Annie Mitsak, partner at Cure Ventures; and Tom Neyarapally, CEO and co-founder of Archetype Therapeutics.

Fierce Biotech Week will run from October 7 to 9 at the Encore Boston Harbor Hotel.
