Ropes & Gray to Co-Host Brazil-U.S. Anti-Corruption & Financial Crime Enforcement Roundtable

Ropes & Gray will co-host a Brazil–U.S. anti-corruption and financial crime enforcement roundtable with leading Brazilian firm Demarest, convening in Brazil to examine cross-border enforcement priorities shaping the U.S. and Brazil.

Ryan Rohlfsen, co-head of the anti-corruption and internal risk practice, and litigation & enforcement associate Karina Thomas, will participate in the roundtable on October 30. The discussion will address enforcement trends and notable developments, U.S. risk implications arising from Brazil’s fuel and fintech probes, and strategic pathways for proactive risk mitigation across high-exposure sectors.

Demarest partners Eloy Rizzo and Fabyola En Rodrigues will also participate in the roundtable, offering insights into Brazilian enforcement dynamics and cooperation trends.
