Data, privacy & cybersecurity partners Ed McNicholas and Fran Faircloth and litigation & enforcement partners Eva Carman and Amy Jane Longo will speak at the Securities Industry & Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) Compliance & Legal Annual Seminar, which will take place in Orlando, Florida, March 22-25.
Ed will speak on the panel “Not If, But When: Preparing for and Managing a Cyber Event,” which will address cyber incident preparedness as well as legal, regulatory, and compliance considerations.
Amy will serve as a panelist for “Status of Surveillance – Large Firms: Strategies and Technology Innovations.” This panel will explore new and existing product challenges and AI innovation.
Fran will examine data oversight programs and related risks and considerations on the panel, “Data Risk Oversight: What You Need to Know in a Changing World.”
Eva will be featured on a panel being offered with Ethics CLE credit entitled, “In-house Ethics: Pitfalls, Perils, and Practical Tips.” The panel will provide practical guidance on how to identify and address key in-house ethical issues, including those relating to internal investigations, privilege, client identification, and corporate crisis management. It is on March 25 at 10:10 – 11:10 am ET.
