Health care and higher education counsel Minal Caron presented at the Three I’s Biosecurity and Research Integrity Conference on April 29.
Minal presented a session titled “Research Security: Evolving Risk and Regulation.” The presentation provided an overview of the evolving U.S. regulatory landscape for research security, focusing on recent regulatory changes, enforcement actions, and compliance challenges affecting federally-funded research institutions. The discussion provided recommendations for research compliance and administration professionals to strengthen institutional research security programs and navigate heightened federal scrutiny.
The “Three Is” conference is organized by the New England Society for Biomedical Research, Maine Regulatory Training & Ethics Center, and North Carolina Association for Biomedical Research and focuses on legal, compliance and ethics issues for research administration and compliance professionals.
