Ropes & Gray attorneys hosted a discussion on June 4 in Tokyo on “Japan US Life Sciences Strategic Transactions,” followed by a networking reception.
The session included leading practitioners and industry participants for a dynamic discussion examining practical guidance for M&A, investment and licensing partnerships between Japanese and US life sciences companies. The presenters addressed topics including licensing transactions, royalty monetization transactions, most favored nation drug pricing and Japan pricing and economics, and Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS), M&A and licensing execution.
