Four Partners to Moderate Sessions at 2026 Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Ethics and Compliance Congress

Four Ropes & Gray partners will moderate sessions at the 27th Annual Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Ethics and Compliance Congress in Washington, D.C. October 13–16.

The forum for compliance professionals, legal counsel, regulators and industry consultants covers pharmaceutical and medical device topics including key laws, regulations, guidance and policy developments, among others.

Attorneys participating in the Congress include:

Jamie Darch, health care partner, will moderate the Session Faculty Q&A on “Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Advanced Privacy and Security/Cybersecurity Updates” that will examine compliance and privacy issues unique to pharmaceutical and medical device companies and cybersecurity best practices.

Samantha Barrett Badlam, litigation & enforcement partner, will moderate a Mini Summit on “External Funding Risks and Mitigation: Latest Trends in Exhibit and Display and Sponsorship Requests.”  The panel will examine the legal risks associated with such external funding and best practices to mitigate risk.

Christine Moundas, health care partner and co-head of the firm’s digital health initiative, will moderate the Mini Summit on “Digital Ecosystem Considerations for Pharmaceutical Companies.” The session will examine regulatory and practical considerations related to overseeing and safeguarding the complex ecosystems underlying pharmaceutical companies’ patient support programs, provider outreach, digital marketing, data analytics, and AI initiatives. The session will also address state and federal regulatory updates and litigation and enforcement trends.

Josh Oyster, life sciences regulatory & compliance partner, will moderate a Mini Summit on the “Annual FDA Office of Prescription Drug Promotion Update.” The session will explore the evolving compliance landscape for drug advertising and promotion including enforcement trends, the surge in warning and untitled letters, and practical guidance for companies on responding to FDA enforcement letters and strengthening compliance programs to mitigate advertising and promotion risk.
