Finance partners Patricia Lynch and Matthieu Wharmby will participate in panel discussions at ABS East 2026 in Miami on October 20.
Patricia, who leads the firm’s U.S. securitization practice, will be speaking on the panel “Built on the Brand: Whole-Business, Franchise and Recurring-Revenue Securitization.”
Patricia and her fellow panelists will discuss how whole-business securitizations are expanding beyond established franchise models into a wider range of operating platforms and recurring-revenue businesses. They will explore brand strength, unit economics, franchisee performance, leverage, covenants, back-up management and refinancing risk, among other subjects.
Matthieu will speak on the panel “Beyond the Fund: CFOs and Fund-Level Securitization.”
Matthieu and his fellow panelists will explore how, as private market portfolios grow in scale and maturity, market participants in the fund space are increasingly turning to structured finance techniques for fundraising and liquidity. They will explore the development of collateralized fund obligations (CFOs), portfolio construction, ratings, cashflow modelling, tranching and structural protections.
