Ropes & Gray represented Becton, Dickinson and Company (BD) in the sale of its Discovery Labware unit for approximately $730 million in cash to Corning Inc. The transaction was announced April 10 and after a six-month investigation by the Federal Trade Commission, and closed on Oct. 31 in the midst of Hurricane Sandy.
Ropes & Gray also represented BD in the Federal Trade Commission’s review of the deal.
