In a recent article, James Batchelder, managing partner of Ropes & Gray’s Silicon Valley office and a trial attorney in the firm’s IP litigation practice, opined on the likelihood of the U.S. International Trade Commission expanding its domestic industry requirement pilot program in 2014 as a way to thwart patent trolls.
