Ropes & Gray recently advised Stanadyne Corp., a Kohlberg-backed company, on the sale of its Filtration business to Clarcor Inc. for approximately $325 million. The transaction was announced April 28. The Stanadyne Filtration business supplies equipment and replacement fuel filtration products to leading original equipment manufacturers, and includes a manufacturing facility in Washington, N.C. and engineering and administration operations in Windsor, Conn. The sale is expected to close within the first two weeks of May.
