On Sept. 17, government enforcement partner Ryan Rohlfsen (Chicago) spoke on a Transaction Advisors panel at the fall 2015 Midwest Symposium. The panel addressed SEC disclosure obligations; the identification of ethical issues in target companies; guidance on merger investigations; and other issues relating to M&A oversight.
Mr. Rohlfsen is the only attorney practicing in Chicago who has worked in the DOJ’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) unit as part of an elite group of federal prosecutors responsible for the global enforcement of the U.S. FCPA, and leverages that experience to offer insight on the management of issues involving governmental agencies.
