Ropes & Gray’s Seoul office and the In-House Counsel Forum of Korea co-hosted a seminar titled “Doing Business in China – Risks to Companies with Operations in the U.S.” in Seoul on March 17. Presenters included IP transactions partner Geoffrey Lin (Shanghai), who discussed trends and key considerations in JV and collaboration/licensing deals in China; a former government enforcement partner, who examined the expanding jurisdiction of U.S. anti-corruption enforcement and its impact on Korean companies with business in China; and a former government enforcement partner, who shared lessons learned in China investigations. The event was moderated by IP litigation partner David Chun (Seoul).
