Ropes & Gray represented Thoma Bravo in its acquisition of Bomgar, a leader in secure access solutions, from TA Associates.
Thoma Bravo is a leading private equity investment firm building on a more than 30-year history of providing equity and strategic support to experienced management teams and growing companies. The firm currently manages a series of private equity funds representing more than $16 billion of equity commitments.
Founded in 2003, Bomgar helps businesses improve productivity and security by enabling secure, controlled access to any system or device, anywhere in the world. More than 10,000 organizations across 80 countries use Bomgar to deliver superior support services and reduce threats to valuable data and systems.
The acquisition was completed on June 23. Financial details were not disclosed.
