Life sciences associate Rajarshi Banerjee (Boston) co-authored a March 14 STAT News op-ed article on how global health innovations can benefit the U.S. health care industry.
The op-ed co-authors, who include members of the MIT Cost-Effective Healthcare Initiative, explain that in a world where health issues in rich and poor countries are becoming similar, innovation should know no borders. Health care solutions from developing countries, or those researched and funded in America but aimed at developing nations, could help address health care challenges in the United States.
