Ropes & Gray represented Baring Private Equity Asia in connection with the merger of Clarivate Analytics Plc, a global provider of trusted insights and analytics to accelerate the pace of innovation, and Churchill Capital Corp, a publicly traded investment vehicle. The closing of the merger was announced following the receipt of stockholder approval at Churchill's special meeting of stockholders held on May 13. Baring Private Equity Asia is an investor in Clarivate Analytics.
In connection with the completed merger, the combined company has been renamed Clarivate Analytics Plc, and ordinary shares and warrants began trading on the New York Stock Exchange and NYSE American under the symbols CCC and CCC WS, respectively, on May 14.
