Ropes & Gray represented Partners Group in its agreement to become the majority owner of Idera Inc., a leading global provider of software solutions for IT professionals. Idera delivers B2B software productivity tools used by millions of community members and more than 50,000 customers worldwide including some of the world's largest healthcare, financial services, retail, and technology companies.
Current shareholders HGGC and TA Associates will continue as equity investors moving forward, along with Idera's management team. The transaction was announced on January 22, and the press release is available here. Partners Group’s majority investment in Idera comes on the heels of two other Ropes & Gray-led transactions, a majority investment in Wedgewood Pharmacy (announced on December 9) and the acquisition of Careismatic Brands (announced on January 7).
