Ropes & Gray represented healthcare investment fund GHO Capital and portfolio company DNA Diagnostics Center in the sale of DNA Diagnostics to Eurofins, a publicly traded global laboratory testing business. The transaction was announced on June 28.
DNA Diagnostics Center is a leading consumer-focused DNA testing company producing DNA lab and testing services in sectors including family relationships, immigration, gender, fertility and healthcare. Its leading consumer brands include SpermCheck, HomePaternity and Peekaboo Early Gender Detection. The transaction will expand the position of Eurofins into the consumer genetics and health and wellness markets.
