Ropes & Gray Represents CIVC Partners in Investment in Industrial Networking Solutions

Ropes & Gray advised CIVC Partners in its investment in Industrial Networking Solutions (“INS”), a value-added reseller of wired and wireless products for the Internet of Things (“IoT”) market and related engineering and provisioning services. CIVC Partners’ investment was made in partnership with INC founder Stephen Woram, past president Mike Finley, CEO Richard Rogers, and the broader INS management team. The investment aims to support INS in expanding its offerings and pursuing strategic acquisitions. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed and the announcement was made in a press release on January 23.

CIVC Partners is a Chicago-based private equity firm. Since 1989, CIVC has invested almost $2.2 billion in 78 platforms in partnership with founders and executives in middle-market business services companies.
