Ropes & Gray advised Bain Capital on the closing of Bain Capital Tech Opportunities Fund II, L.P. The fund closed with $2.4 billion in total commitments, up from the $1.3 billion that the firm put to work through the first vehicle of its type in 2019. The final closing took place in January.
Bain Capital is a global private investment firm that manages several pools of capital including private equity, venture capital, credit, public equity, impact investing, life sciences and real estate with approximately $160 billion in assets under management.
