Ropes & Gray advised HarbourVest Partners and Lexington Partners in an investment in Insight Partners’ Continuation Fund II, which closed with total commitments of approximately $1.3 billion. The closing was announced in a press release on May 18.
Insight Partners’ Continuation Fund II was established to acquire stakes in software companies across six Insight funds to support their continued growth while providing liquidity to Insight’s Limited Partners. HarbourVest is an independent, global private markets firm with 40 years of experience and more than $106 billion of assets. Lexington Partners is a leading global alternative investment manager primarily involved in providing liquidity solutions to owners of private equity and other alternative investments and in making co-investments alongside leading private equity sponsors.
